Rebecca Almeyda graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a B.S. in Medical Technology.  She also received a M.S. in Medical Technology from Interamerican University in Puerto Rico.  She graduated from the University of Puerto Rico in 2006.  She finished 3 years of Anesthesia Residency in Kentucky before changing over to Family Medicine.  Rebecca has particular interest in Hospice and Palliative care.  While in Puerto Rico she was a volunteer for the Make a Wish Foundation.  She has 2 cats, Monty and Tigger.

Hobbies include:  Reading, Music, Watching tv, woodworking, target practice and driving
