Jeremy Johnson Carter completed his undergraduate education at the Messiah College in Philadelphia where he received a B.S., magna cum laude, in Biology. He was the recipient of the Provost’s scholarship, a Dean’s Scholarship, and made the Dean’s list throughout his enrollment. He developed his leadership skills by serving as a Student Alumni Counsel Member, Office of Admissions Diplomat, and Apartment Life Coordinator, and Editor in the Office of Publications. Jeremy also worked as EMT, and a clinical assistant for a large regional hospital during his undergraduate years. Following college graduation Jeremy worked as a medical assistant in private medical practices.
Jeremy enrolled in the Brody School of Medicine in 2006, and has served in numerous leadership roles both in the community and at the School of medicine. He is very active in the schools chapter of the American Medical Association – Medical Student Section, Family Medicine Interest Group, and the Christian Medical and Dental Association.
His hobbies include: Music; he has played in church band for ten years – instruments: drums, guitar, and Piano, spending time with his wife and other family.
