Bethany Bitner, received a dual B.A in Biology and Religion from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois.  She attended medical school at the University of Illinois College Of Medicine. During medical school, she participated in a special Rural Medical Education Program that focuses on rural medicine, family medicine, and the community.  While attending medical school, Bethany has been active in her church and various projects in her community, including serving as team leader for an extensive project remodeling one of the local high schools. 

Hobbies: golfing, fishing, painting and making crafts, reading, and traveling.
