Max Kelley, from Decatur, Illinois graduated from Harding University in Searcy, Arizona with a B.A. in General Studies. He attended medical school at University of Tennessee College of Medicine where he was a member of AOA. Max worked with a medical missionary in Uganda and Rwanda during the summer of 2001. During medical school, he worked with the Hispanic population at a free clinic every Saturday.
